A rock band with six albums under its belt, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are like a modern-day version of Tina Turner fronting the Rolling Stones. Their latest album "The Lion, The Beast, The Beat" is scheduled to be released this spring. The Vermont-based band is new five-piece configuration of keyboardist Grace Potter, lead guitarist Scott Tournet and drummer Matt Bur, joined by bassist Catherine Popper and rhythm guitarist Benny Yurco.

From Lansing: Start out on I-96 W toward Flint / Grand Rapids. Take the Cascade Rd West exit, #40A. Merge onto Cascade Rd SE. Turn right onto M-37 N / E Beltline Ave SE. You will follow the East Beltline until you see the entrance for Frederik Meijer Gardens on your right hand side. 1000 East Beltline NE
